Happy Thanksgiving! I want to thank everyone for being part of the CCP family this year, whether as a listener to the show, a conference or webinar attendee, or a Community Cats Grant program participant. Thank you all for your support and for sharing the Community Cats Podcast with others. We have had 134,000 downloads of the show to date, and I can’t wait until we are at 150,000!

At this time I want to share a big thank you to a few people who have made the podcast and our other programs successful over the course of the last year. Many of you know Kristen Petrie (interviewed in CCP Episode 99), who is responsible for graphics and all things technical. She is really the backbone of this operation and if we didn’t have her, we would be lost.

We also have Liz Pease (interviewed way back in CCP Episode 51 in a former position), who makes sure we have podcast summaries and understandable blog posts. (Luckily, after years of working together, she understands “Stacy speak.”) She writes some of those blog posts herself as well and also helps keep an eye out for any wayward typos.

Many of you know Julie Jacobson (interviewed most recently in CCP Episode 268) from Spay Tennessee. She also runs the Community Cats Grants program and has successfully assisted over 100 groups through the program in just the last couple of years.

In 2019, we also established partnerships with Neighborhood Cats and the National Kitten Coalition. Our webinar series with Neighborhood Cats was very successful, as was the Online Kitten Conference. I can’t wait for 2020 to continue holding these events. Thanks to all of the guests who have appeared on the show or presented at our conferences and to the many sponsors we have had—like Dr. Elsey’s cat litter. We wouldn’t have a show without your efforts to turn your passion for cats into action.

Finally, just in case you aren’t into watching football on Thanksgiving and would rather binge-watch trapping workshops, I thought I would leave you with links to the 2019 Neighborhood Cats Webinars in 2019! Check out Trapping Tricks & Tricks, The Drop Trap: A Trapper’s Best Friend, and Colony Caretaker Tips.
