Community Cats Podcast’s Online Feline Leukemia Day is the go-to virtual event for people from around the world to come together and learn about making life better for cats with Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV)! We are excited to bring this educational day to you again in 2021 after last year’s successful day of information—and inspiration—sharing!
We are seeking experts from all walks of the animal welfare community to submit proposals and share expertise with fellow FeLV caregivers and advocates at this year's Online Feline Leukemia Day, to be held July 17, 2021.
Do you have an innovative program that can increase adoption rates for FeLV+ cats? Are you working on or familiar with new research studies on FeLV? Please consider submitting a proposal to present a session—or several—on these or other topics. Possible topics include:
* Adoption programs
* Health, nutrition & welfare
* Shelter management
* Legal & policy issues
* Testing
* Research
* Veterinary care/end of life decisions?
* Other topics and concerns
Most sessions will be 60 minutes long (including 10–15 minutes for Q&A), but longer or shorter sessions may be included based on content. Proposals will be accepted through January 15, 2021. Speakers will be notified via email if their proposal has been accepted. Thank you for all that you do for cats with FeLV, and we look forward to hearing from you!
