2022 Diversity Day Recordings

On Saturday, October 15, 2022, the animal welfare community joined Community Cats Podcast for a full day of tips, tricks, and best practices on raising funds during challenging economic times. They heard from animal welfare, nonprofit leaders, and other fundraising professionals on a range of topics, from engaging donors to fundraising virtually to tracking the effectiveness of fundraising efforts. Please note – these recordings will be available for 1 year.
On Sunday, October 16, 2022, the Community Cats Podcast Community met up (virtually, of course!) for a day of discussion and exploration of diversity in feline rescue featuring experts from the animal welfare world. The day included a variety of online sessions covering everything from removing barriers to participation in rescue organizations to how shelters might consider caring for a wider variety of cats with disabilities. The unique perspective that was presented helped attendees to learn about the challenging issues around diversity in our community cat environment. Presentations include:
